GO APE OR GO HOME!
I’ve been obsessed with Planet of the Apes since I was a kid.. Posters on my walls, read-a-long comics with 7” records, badges, stickers and trading cards. My parents let me stay up to watch the TV show with them and when the Radio Times had a showing of one of the movies listed I’d get a front row bean bag in the 2nd living room.
I’d been let down by Tim Burton, his Planet of the Apes remake wasn’t anything like I hoped it would be. Man… It was truly awful. I knew they had to do something special with ‘Rise’ You guys need to go and watch this film.. it’s amazing.. looking forward to seeing it for the 3rd time next week.. when it comes out on Blu Ray i’ll be purchasing one of those badboys too..
